Job Responsibilities:
As Operations Manager for VNV Trading and Distribution Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations. In this role, you will help ensure that all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective manner while also improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
You will work with other managers to formulate strategic and operational objectives and examine financial data to improve profitability. Your responsibilities include helping the organization's processes remain legally compliant, planning inventory and overseeing warehouse efficiency, purchasing materials, and helping the company's processes remain legally compliant.

Qualifications/ Skill requirements:

As a Digital Marketer at VNV, you'll be responsible for creating and executing campaigns that result in increased traffic and sales. You'll research advertising trends, analyze competitors' pricing and products, decide on appropriate placement of ads, determine what content will reach customers, develop projects to create content like blog posts and videos; publish digital marketing content online; implement email marketing campaigns; measure digital traffic using Google Analytics; monitor social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter; optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO tools; report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders; scale campaigns to maximize ROI; monitor project status and budget; conduct market research to inform campaigns; brainstorm and implement experiments or conversion tests.

The Business Developer will be responsible for coordinating the development of the company’s business objectives and expanding its customer base. The main purpose of this role is to identify, plan, and implement effective strategies that will lead to high-value, cost-effective business opportunities. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and execute new business plans that meet or exceed the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales team to coordinate efforts in acquiring new customers and maintaining existing relationships.
  • Research the food trading and distribution market to identify potential clients and develop tailored strategies for engaging with them.
  • Prepare sales proposals and presentations to potential clients.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) for the distribution of food goods to stores and other distribution centers.
  • Responsible for completing pre-trip inspections, checking vehicle mileage, and fuel levels prior to each trip.
  • Loading and unloading food goods from the truck in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensuring food is delivered in compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of all goods picked up and delivered.
  • Communicating with center staff, store personnel and customers regarding shipments and deliveries.
  • Adhering to all rules and regulations of the Road Traffic Act.
  • Maintaining a valid HGV licence and ensuring all relevant paperwork is up to date.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant changes in legislation of the transportation industry.

    Qualifications/ Skill requirements:
  • Possessing excellent driving skills and an ability to manoeuvre vehicles in challenging spaces.
  • Experience of driving long distances in a professional setting.

    Job Responsibilities:
    We are seeking an experienced and motivated LGV Driver to join our busy food and distribution company. The ideal candidate has a current and valid LGV licence, excellent driving record and good organizational skills. You must demonstrate an ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

  • Operate large goods vehicles (LGV) in accordance with legal regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Transport goods to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Load, unload, and secure goods using appropriate handling equipment.
  • Ensure vehicle is kept clean, safe, and well maintained at all times.
  • Carry out daily pre-checks of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Fill out paperwork accurately and deliver documents such as delivery notes or receipts upon completion of deliveries.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of road network, routes, regulations, and legislation.

    Qualifications/ Skill requirements:
  • Valid LGV licence (minimum of Cat C)
  • Good driving record and knowledge of driving regulations
  • Ability to read maps, use GPS systems, follow directions and plan efficient routes
  • Ability to operate loading/unloading equipment efficiently
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
